I’m Sam Howell Petersen.
I’m a storyteller, writer, singer, and stage director.
I’ve directed a musical where the instruments outnumbered the people on the small stage of a coffee shop, devised a theatrical piece based on assignments from a computer science course, sound designed a choose-your-own-adventure play, and embodied a Rousseau-quoting French sheep.
My music is folky, whimsical, silly, alternative, experimental, poetic. Sometimes simple, sometimes chaotic. I love to sing.
When I’m not making art in various forms, you can find me outside with the trees or making delicious food with one of my 16 housemates.
