Toying with the detective tradition with a bizarre twist, Postmortem traces the investigation game of a detective duo within a black-and-white cityscape as they roam in search of a mystery among vast memories and existential oblivion. Inspired by absurdist theatre, Roberto Bolaño’s “detective” poems from The Romantic Dogs, and the streets of San Francisco, this performance visualizes a post-apocalyptic world at the convergence of abstraction and mundanity.
